Portsmouth travel to Southampton for Sunday's south-coast Championship derby as clear underdogs, according to head coach John Mousinho.

Portsmouth travel to Southampton for Sunday's south-coast Championship derby at St Mary's, kicking off at 12:00 BST. The clubs are separated by two points and six places in the table, with Pompey 19th and Saints higher up, though Portsmouth have a game in hand.

Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho said his team are 'clear underdogs' against Southampton, whose squad came down from the Premier League a couple of years ago and has since been strengthened. 'They have a very strong squad, very well-resourced - they are very heavy favourites, in my eyes,' Mousinho told BBC Radio Solent. He added that while the derby 'hype and anticipation' might help his team raise their game, he wanted them to be 'consistently good'.

The statistics favour Southampton, who have won all four home matches this season while scoring 15 goals. Portsmouth have taken four points from their three away games. Mousinho reported positive injury news ahead of the fixture following a three-week international break.
