Hannah Louise Glover allegedly told a prison cellmate she stabbed her ex-girlfriend Tara Marie Morrison to death in April 2024.

Hannah Louise Glover, 30, allegedly admitted to a prison cellmate that she fatally stabbed her ex-girlfriend Tara Marie Morrison, 38, in April 2024. The alleged attack took place at Glover's home in Busselton, about 220km south of Perth. Glover and her boyfriend James Anthony Sorgiovanni, 29, have pleaded not guilty to murder.

A woman imprisoned with Glover told WA Supreme Court on Wednesday that Glover confided details of the attack while police listened on a hidden microphone. According to the cellmate's testimony, Glover said she saw Morrison give her daughter GHB, and that Sorgiovanni held Morrison's hand behind her back while she grabbed her by the hair and stabbed her in the neck. The cellmate demonstrated the motion three times for the jury. Glover also said she dragged Morrison throughout the house and used four knives during the attack.

Police discovered Morrison's body in her daughter's wardrobe at Glover's home. The body bore approximately 40 wounds, along with grazes and bruising that could indicate she was restrained. Blood was found splattered on walls, doors and the floor. The court has previously heard that Glover, Sorgiovanni and Morrison had been using illicit drugs before the killing.
