Two people are dead after a shooting at a Citibank campus near Tampa, Florida on Wednesday afternoon.

A shooting at Citibank's campus in Brandon, outside Tampa, Florida, killed at least two people on Wednesday around noon. One victim was reported wounded and bleeding in the cafeteria of the Citibank Center. The gunman is also dead, according to authorities.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said the shooting appears to be a 'targeted incident'. Sources indicate it involved a vendor at the facility rather than Citibank employees. A gray vehicle reportedly crashed into the building moments before the shooting, and a shooter was seen carrying a shotgun and a handgun.

The entire building was evacuated in room-to-room sweeps by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department SWAT team. Citibank employees were directed to a reunification site in a nearby parking lot. Students and staff at nearby Hillsborough College were told to shelter in place amid heavy police activity. The Citibank campus in Tampa employs more than 10,000 people and houses departments including global banking, technology, legal, compliance and risk management.
