The two teenagers were able to walk down from the fell unaided and reached the nearby village safely. The team stood down at 08:50, having been on standby for four hours and five minutes. Only one team member was involved in the callout, contributing four volunteer hours. This was Patterdale MRT's 92nd callout of the year so far.

Patterdale MRT said the incident served as a reminder that conditions on the Lake District fells can deteriorate rapidly and without much warning, particularly with named storms forecast over the coming days.
