Four businesses on Felixstowe seafront were burgled overnight, with cash stolen and damage caused.

Four businesses on Felixstowe seafront were broken into overnight on 21 October. Suffolk Police were called just before 7.30am to reports of burglaries in the Manning's Amusement Park area on Sea Road. Thieves stole cash from tills in at least two of the shops and caused property damage to the premises. Offenders also attempted to break into two further businesses in the area.

Among the four businesses targeted were AllShapes and La Casa Latina, both located at the Beach Street venue. La Casa Latina, a family-owned restaurant, was forced to close following the break-in. The business said the burglary 'really affected us' as the shops entered the difficult winter months ahead. The restaurant hoped to reopen for lunchtime service on Thursday after sorting out the damage caused during the overnight raid.

Suffolk Police remained on the scene as enquiries continued. The force appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about the burglaries to contact them, quoting incident reference SC-21102026-39.
