The wife of Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has said the uncertainty surrounding potential trade talks is driving her 'crazy'.

Ayanna Taylor posted on TikTok on Tuesday expressing anxiety about the trade speculation surrounding her husband, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. With the NFL trade deadline five days away on 10 November, she described the uncertainty as making her feel 'like a prized calf waiting for the slaughter'. She posted after the Colts' heavy 42-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

In her video, Ayanna said: 'This waiting game is driving me crazy.' She explained that she could not decide which scenario would be worse: 'being blindsided and sent away, or being the last one standing knowing what may be coming to pick for you.' She asked followers whether they expected trade activity that week or a 'quiet storm brewing just around the corner', adding: 'something tells me we're not quite done with this chapter yet.'

Taylor is considered a highly coveted player because he has an opt-out clause in his contract with Indianapolis. The Colts' poor 2-6 record has led to his name being floated on the trading block. In response to comments from other fans, Ayanna acknowledged hearing 'so many different teams' mentioned and responded positively to a suggestion about the Minnesota Vikings.
