President Trump held a rally in Kalispell, Montana, to support Republican congressional candidate Aaron Flint against Democratic opponent Sam Forstag.

President Donald Trump held a rally in Kalispell, Montana, on Wednesday night to support Republican candidate Aaron Flint in the race for Montana's Western District U.S. House seat. Trump praised Flint as a 'fantastic man' and 'true American patriot', whilst attacking his Democratic opponent Sam Forstag as a 'far-left lobbyist phony' who was 'not respected at all'.

Several high-ranking Montana Republicans spoke before Trump, including Governor Greg Gianforte, retiring U.S. Representative Ryan Zinke, and U.S. Senate candidate Kurt Alme. U.S. Senators Tim Sheehy and Steve Daines also attended but did not speak. The Republican National Committee said the event filled the Majestic Valley Arena, which can seat several thousand people.

Flint, the last speaker before Trump, highlighted his military service and family connections to the Flathead Valley. He repeatedly characterised Forstag as a 'far-left lobbyist from Portland', a description that drew boos from the crowd. Flint also referenced Montana voters who 'fled the tyranny and failed policies on the West Coast', stating that families in Montana could be raised 'in faith and in freedom'.
