New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn incorrectly stated his team would receive the ball to start the second half against New England Patriots on Sunday.

Daily Mail Sport reports that New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn came under fire after a halftime interview error during Sunday's game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. During his sideline interview with CBS, Glenn said: 'The good thing is, we get the ball. We get a chance to go move it and finish.' However, once play resumed, fans and social media users quickly noted that the Patriots, not the Jets, were receiving the ball to start the second half.

The mistake prompted widespread criticism on social media. One user commented: 'Not knowing who gets the ball to start the half is a rough one.' Other fans used the error to question Glenn's position, with some saying he should have been fired earlier. Some fans suggested Glenn may have been referring to the defence needing to force a turnover, though his wording did not clearly convey that interpretation.
