Verizon will charge $10 per month for iPhone Handoff, which allows a single phone number to be shared across two iPhones.

Verizon has announced it will charge customers $10 per month for iPhone Handoff, Apple's feature that allows a single phone number to be shared across two iPhones. The pricing was confirmed in Verizon's iPhone Duo announcement, with the feature working on the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro models. Users can switch active status between devices at any time while maintaining access to Verizon's 5G network, though only one iPhone can have the active phone number at any given time.

Support from Verizon is coming soon, with Apple previously stating the carrier would adopt the feature before the end of the year. Other carriers have already introduced iPhone Handoff with varying pricing. T-Mobile charges $5 per month, while UK carrier EE charges £5 per month but includes it free for customers with Full Works Plus plans. Deutsche Telekom in Germany charges €6.95 monthly, though it includes the feature free in MagentaMobil L and XL plans.

AT&T, the third major US carrier, has suggested it has no imminent plans to support iPhone Handoff.
