Wandsworth Council is considering tree works and planning changes across the borough, including a potential development at Delta Business Park.

Wandsworth Council is considering planning applications and tree works across the borough. Applications under review include proposals linked to a potential future development at Delta Business Park at 10 Smugglers Way, which have been submitted for an Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Opinion under the Town and Country Planning Regulations. This assessment seeks guidance on the environmental issues that may need to be considered as part of any forthcoming planning proposals for the site.

The council is also reviewing several tree maintenance applications. These include reducing the crown height of a plum tree by 3 metres and width by 1.5 to 2 metres at 18 Ravenslea Road for general maintenance. At 13-17 Seaton Close, the application is to re-pollard the crowns of two trees to pre-existing knuckles under a Tree Preservation Order from 1978.

Further applications involve pruning a pleached tree screen at 6 Earlsfield Road as detailed in a submitted report, and pruning a prunus tree to a height of 4 metres and width of 3 metres at 1 Laneway. Members of the public can find, save and share public notices affecting their area through the Public Notice Portal, which carries statutory notices published in local newspapers and also lists alcohol licensing applications and planned road closures.
