A display of 700 illuminated drones performed at Newmarket Racecourse, captivating thousands of spectators. The show was organised by Immersive Drone Lightshows and held on the Rowley Mile.

The display began at 8pm with a cinematic voiceover from BAFTA award-winning TV presenter Michaela Strachan introducing the story. It combined storytelling, music and environmental messages, encouraging audiences to protect wildlife. A standout moment came when the drones formed a lifelike chameleon, drawing audible gasps from the crowd.

The show moved from safari scenes to outer space, featuring rockets, ships and satellites to engage younger viewers. A delayed start due to technical issues meant families received extra entertainment, including a second set from a live musician and animal noise guessing games led by the compère.
