Summarised from 3 outlets · Updated 2 Oct, 13:07 · Archive
West Bromwich Albion full-back Nolan Galves will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury. Galves suffered the injury during the club's match at Pride Park against Derby, where circumstances led to his exit from the pitch.
The injury came in the wake of teammate Brayann Pereira's dismissal in the same match. With Galves now sidelined, Pereira is expected to take on increased responsibility in the team's defence for the rest of the campaign.
