Winger Andy Djeukessi has signed a one-year deal with York Knights.

York Knights have signed winger Andy Djeukessi on a one-year deal. The 23-year-old scored 21 tries in 23 appearances for Championship club Newcastle Thunder in the last season. He has also played for Workington and Castleford Tigers earlier in his career.

Djeukessi appeared once for York Knights on loan in August, in a win over St Helens. Head coach Mark Applegarth said of the signing: 'Obviously he's still young and raw and he's got plenty of developing in him, but his athletic potential is really good.'
