Dumbleton Hall, a 34-bedroom country house hotel near Evesham, has secured a £10 million refinancing deal months after reopening in April.

Dumbleton Hall, a 34-bedroom country house hotel set within 16 acres of grounds near Evesham, has secured a £10 million refinancing deal from Pallas Capital. The funding will support the business as it continues to build trade following its reopening in April after an extensive renovation.

The refurbishment saw the number of rooms reduced from 38 to 34 to create larger suites, all located within the main house. Plans are also being developed for additional Woodland and Garden Lodges. The hotel has already earned a place in the 2026 Michelin Guide and Condé Nast Traveller's guide to the best hotels in the Cotswolds, and was shortlisted for Best New Hotel at the Boutique Hotelier Awards 2026.

Jamie Peacham, senior underwriter at Pallas Capital, said the lender had looked beyond standard financial assessments when considering the deal. 'Dumbleton Hall Hotel has a long and varied history, having evolved through many chapters over the years. Pallas looked beyond the figures, taking the time to understand both the property and the vision behind its future growth,' he said. Paul Vezolles, sponsor, described the refinancing as an 'important milestone' for Dumbleton Hall.
