Costa Coffee has opened its first store inside a Cineworld cinema at the Ashton-under-Lyne location. The partnership will expand to up to 26 Cineworld cinemas across the UK, representing a significant expansion for the coffee chain into cinema venues.

The Ashton-under-Lyne store is designed to provide movie-goers with a comfortable space to relax before or after watching a film. The store features Costa's modern shop design and comfortable seating. Customers can order the chain's full range of handcrafted hot and iced drinks, including its signature Mocha Italia coffee.

The next Costa Coffee location is scheduled to open at Broughton Park on 28 October, with further stores planned for sites including Didsbury, Speke, Glasgow, Sheffield and Birmingham. Several North West locations are among the 26 sites on the expansion list.

Andrew Miller, Express and Corporate Sales Director UK&I at Costa Coffee, said the partnership offers customers 'another place to enjoy their favourite handcrafted drinks and food as part of a trip to the cinema', describing it as 'just the beginning of an exciting rollout that will bring Costa Coffee to movie-goers in locations across the UK'.
