Doncaster Rovers midfielder Robbie Gotts has extended his contract to the end of the 2028-29 season. The 26-year-old former Leeds United player has made 44 appearances for Rovers since joining from Barrow in July 2025. He has featured in 16 matches this season.

Rovers boss Grant McCann praised Gotts' approach to his development. 'Robbie is like a sponge. You give him information and he absorbs it, takes it on board and goes out and delivers,' McCann told the club website. 'He wants to learn, he wants to improve and he's always looking at ways to develop his game.'

The club said it had 'worked hard to get ahead of the game with our contract planning', describing the new deal as another example of that strategy.
