Roxy Collective is hosting a Halloween-themed bingo night with seven cash games and fancy dress on 28 October.
Roxy Collective is hosting a Halloween-themed bingo night at the Laurel and Hardy Museum on Brogden Street in Ulverston on Wednesday, 28 October. Doors open at 6.30pm, with seven games of cash bingo beginning at 7.30pm. Entry costs £7 on the door, cash only, and the evening will include a raffle and bar.
Fancy dress is encouraged but optional, with witches, vampires and skeletons among the suggested costumes. The event is not ticketed, so places are first come, first served. Organisers advise attendees to arrive early to secure a seat and a chance at the prizes on offer. The event is for people aged 18 and over.
The fundraiser is organised by Roxy Collective, the community group that purchased the historic Art Deco building in 2023 to protect and revitalise it. The building, which first opened as a cinema in 1937, now houses the Roxy Cinema, the Laurel and Hardy Museum, U-Gym and Redrock Productions.
