Popeyes has confirmed its first Norfolk restaurant will open at Broadland Gate Retail Park in Postwick near Norwich.

Popeyes has officially confirmed plans for a drive-through restaurant at Broadland Gate on Winterton Way in Postwick, near Norwich. The Louisiana-born fried chicken chain will be the brand's first location in Norfolk.

The new outlet will offer dine-in and takeaway options with seating for up to 50 people, and will be developed alongside an M&S supermarket. Plans have been in the pipeline for more than a year, with the chain's orange and turquoise branding recently installed at the unit.

Tom Crowley, CEO of Popeyes UK, said: 'We're buzzing to bring our famous New Orleans flavours to Norwich. Every new restaurant opens with such incredible energy from our fans, and we can't wait to welcome the local community through our doors.' The new site will serve the brand's full menu, including hand-marinated fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits, all freshly prepared each day. Popeyes has been rapidly expanding across the UK since its debut in 2021. Full details about the opening date and launch plans have not yet been announced.
