Ford Australia has introduced a Black Edition variant of its F-150 Lariat pickup to help sell remaining 2023 model-year examples.

Ford Australia has introduced the F-150 Lariat Black Edition to help sell remaining 2023 model-year examples of the pickup. Ford is applying the Black Edition treatment to 230 examples of remaining 2023 stock of the F-150 Lariat long-wheelbase dual-cab, which was replaced in Australian showrooms in early 2026 by the updated 2024 model. Beyond this, Ford has 495 examples of the 2023 F-150 currently remaining in dealer stock.

The Black Edition treatment includes black exterior details in place of chrome, including the grille, bumpers, door handles and mirror caps. It also features 20-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, unique bonnet decals and a black tailgate decal. The 2023 Lariat Black Edition comes with a 298kW/678Nm 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, along with a 4500kg braked towing capacity.

Ford Australia has not announced pricing for the Black Edition. The 2023 Lariat long-wheelbase was originally priced at $140,945 before on-road costs, though Ford has previously offered discounts of $8000 on older stock. The newer 2024 F-150 Lariat is priced at $143,950 plus on-road costs.
