NSW Police are investigating three alleged sexual offences against women exercising on walking tracks on Sydney's northern beaches, and are considering whether the incidents are linked.
Two women were allegedly sexually touched by people riding e-bikes in separate incidents in Narrabeen. The first incident occurred shortly before 4pm on Wednesday when a woman was walking along the Narrabeen Lagoon Trail and was allegedly sexually touched by an unknown man riding an e-bike. The man was described as having a slim build and wearing a fluorescent yellow shirt and dark pants. A second alleged incident happened about 5.30pm on Thursday when another woman was allegedly sexually touched while exercising along a track at Billabong Reserve by an unknown person riding an e-bike, described as Caucasian, aged between 15 and 16, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with blonde curly hair and wearing a red and white T-shirt.
A third incident occurred about 3.15pm on Thursday when a woman was running along the Narrabeen Lake track and an unknown person allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments towards her. NSW Police launched a public appeal on Saturday after the incidents were reported to officers. Anyone who witnessed the incidents or has footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
