Four kittens seek homes through Animal Rescue Cumbria

Summarised from 4 outlets · Updated 4 Nov, 07:10 · Archive

Four nine-week-old kittens at Animal Rescue Cumbria are ready for adoption, individually or in pairs.

Four nine-week-old kittens at Animal Rescue Cumbria are ready for adoption. The kittens are named Dusk, Eclipse, Midnight and Twilight and have different markings. Dusk is a female grey tabby, Eclipse a male grey tabby with long hair, Midnight a black female, and Twilight a female tabby. They can be rehomed individually or in pairs.

Staff at the shelter said the kittens are 'looking for their forever homes' and noted that 'all of the kittens can be a little shy at first but their confidence is growing every day'. The youngsters could live with children provided they are given space when needed, and could become either indoor or outdoor cats as they get older.

Eclipse will require extra care because of his long coat, with his future owners asked to groom him regularly to keep it in good condition. Staff stressed that adopting a kitten is a significant commitment and encouraged families to ensure everyone in the household is ready before applying. They said: 'Kittens are a lot of work and a big commitment so any applications must be sent after ensuring that the whole family is on board'.

Anyone who believes they could offer the kittens a loving home can submit an adoption application through the shelter's website.
