Norfolk waste firm adds van with new asset financing deal

Norfolk waste management company Marshalls has secured asset funding from Chatsbrook Finance to expand its fleet.

Marshalls waste management in Norwich has secured new asset funding from Chatsbrook Finance to add a 3.5-tonne Luton van with a tail lift to its growing fleet. The vehicle will enable the company to take on larger waste-clearance contracts and provide operational support to larger waste collectors.

Marshalls was founded in October 2025 by managing director Ryan Marshall and Rechenda Smith, marketing and partnerships director. Ryan Marshall said: 'When we started seeing opportunities for larger clearance jobs and operational support work, we knew we needed a bigger vehicle. We spoke to Chatsbrook about what we were trying to achieve and they worked with us to find an option that made sense.'

Chatsbrook, based at Ketteringham Hall near Norwich, specialises in vehicle, asset and business finance. The company has previously supported Marshalls with funding for other vehicles and around 150 commercial waste bins. Adrian Brooks, managing director of Chatsbrook, said: 'Marshalls is a great example of the type of ambitious, growing local business we enjoy working with.' The partnership reflects Marshalls' wider growth plans to expand its customer base and collection network across Norfolk and into Suffolk.
