A Norwich charity fashion show raised more than £20,000 for breast cancer reconstruction support.
The Keeping Abreast More Than Just Fashion Show raised more than £20,000, with funds still being counted. The event was held at Epic Studios in Norwich on 20 and 21 October and attracted hundreds of guests. It marked the tenth annual Keeping Abreast fashion show and coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and BRA Day (Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day).
Thirty-one breast cancer reconstruction patients modelled the latest styles from Norfolk retailers including Jarrolds, Scarlet, M&S, Elora and Snoop Boutique. The evening featured music, dance, speeches, highlight reels and a giant pink raffle. Entertainment was provided by the Grant Academy of Bollywood and the Knightshift Dance Company, and the show was hosted by ITV Anglia presenters Chris Page and Sascha Williams.
Victoria Pigg, CEO of Keeping Abreast, said: 'We are enormously proud of everyone who took part and incredibly grateful to all those who supported us – from our wonderful hosts, sponsors, audience, production team and volunteers to the amazing models.' The charity will mark its twentieth anniversary next year.
