Horsford Primary School has warned parents about dangerous parking and driving during school runs.

Horsford CofE VA Primary School in Mill Lane has issued a safety warning after multiple complaints from parents, carers and locals about dangerous parking and driving during school runs.

The school cited concerns including inconsiderate parking, vehicles stopping near school entrance markings, congestion, unsafe manoeuvres and speeding on surrounding roads. A school spokesman said: 'The safety of our children, families and local community is our highest priority.'

Police have visited the area to offer advice and monitor the situation. The school reminded parents to park legally and considerately, avoid stopping on or opposite 'school keep clear' markings, and drive slowly and calmly near the school site.
