A limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J bar from Australia has appeared in UK stores including Home Bargains and B&M.

A limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J bar produced by Cadbury Australia has appeared in UK stores, causing shoppers to rush to purchase it before supplies run out. The 170g bar is manufactured in Tasmania and inspired by the American peanut butter and jelly sandwich, replacing bread with creamy Dairy Milk chocolate.

The bar contains peanut-flavoured crème, crunchy peanut pieces and raspberry-flavoured jelly, all wrapped in Cadbury's milk chocolate. It has been spotted in Home Bargains and B&M, which frequently stocks Dairy Milk imports.

Reactions on social media have been mixed. Many shoppers described the bar as 'delicious' and said they 'need to try it' or wanted to get their hands on it 'immediately'. However, not all customers were impressed by the flavour. One said it was 'a bit heavy on the jam' and needed more peanut, while others were more critical, calling it 'yucky'.

Other rare chocolate items have also returned to UK shelves. Astros, space-themed chocolate and candy balls with a biscuit centre, are now available at B&M for £1.30. The sweets were first launched in the UK in 1997 as competitors to Smarties and M&Ms, discontinued in 2008, and have now been imported from South Africa where they are still sold. They are available in 40g and 150g boxes.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp bar is also back on UK supermarket shelves for the festive period. The 350g bar combines Dairy Milk chocolate with crunchy mint pieces and is priced at £5 in Tesco and Ocado, £6 in Morrisons, and £5 in Iceland, with discounts available through loyalty cards at some retailers.
