Portsmouth defeated Millwall 2-1 in a comeback win at Fratton Park.

Portsmouth came from behind to defeat Millwall 2-1 at Fratton Park. The victory marked a strong result for a side in impressive recent form, having lost only one of their last eight Championship matches.

Boss John Mousinho offered a candid assessment after the match, saying his team 'got away with one', suggesting Portsmouth did not play well enough to warrant the victory. Despite his reservations about the performance, Mousinho's team secured the three points needed to maintain their upward trajectory.

The win has energised the squad ahead of the remainder of the season. Captain Marlon Pack spoke after the match expressing excitement about Portsmouth's improving chances of securing a play-off place, with the club's recent form having transformed their prospects in the league table.
