Brookmans Park in Hertfordshire combines countryside surroundings with excellent transport links and amenities, despite being less than half an hour from London by train.

Brookmans Park is a Hertfordshire village less than half an hour from London by train that combines countryside character with urban accessibility. Despite its proximity to the capital, the village maintains a rural atmosphere with leafy surroundings and a strong sense of community.

The area underwent significant growth following the arrival of the railway station in 1926, which transformed the largely rural landscape into a sought-after commuter hotspot. The village has attracted several notable residents, including England and Arsenal footballer Bukayo Saka, singers Alexandra Burke and Tulisa Contostavlos, and Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl. Tulisa Contostavlos rented the Edge House on Kentish Lane until 2014, when it sold for £4.2 million.

Brookmans Park offers visitors and residents access to numerous green spaces and attractions. The nearby Gobions Wood nature reserve provides woodland walks through the remnants of the historic Gobions Estate, whilst the striking Folly Arch marks the area's heritage. North Mymms Park, a grand country estate, is also accessible to visitors. Despite its village feel, the area supports a range of amenities including cafés, restaurants and independent businesses.
