A motorcycle from The Dark Knight is expected to fetch up to £900,000 at auction.

A motorcycle from The Dark Knight is expected to sell for between £450,000 and £900,000 at an auction run by Hertfordshire-based Propstore from 4 to 6 December at Bafta in London. The Batpod featured in a chase scene with Christian Bale's Batman and Heath Ledger's Joker, and also appeared in the 2012 sequel The Dark Knight Rises.

Propstore founder Stephen Lane described the bike as an "extraordinary feat of filmmaking and engineering". Other items for sale include Christian Bale's Batsuit from Batman Begins, estimated between £125,000 and £250,000, and items from Indiana Jones's costumes, including a fedora, shirt and whip from the film series. The Indiana Jones props came from the collection of stuntman Vic Armstrong, who doubled for Harrison Ford.
