Colman's has discontinued its Doner Kebab Recipe Mix, normally priced at 90p, after four years on sale.

Colman's has discontinued its Weekend Wonders Doner Kebab Recipe Mix after four years on sale. The seasoning blend, normally priced at 90p, contained herbs and spices including cumin, garlic and onion, and was designed to be combined with lamb mince to make takeaway-style meals at home.

Colman's confirmed the discontinuation to The Sun, stating that the Chicken Kebab Recipe Mix remains available as part of its range. Customers have expressed disappointment on the Colman's website, with one saying the company needs to 'bring this back straight away' and another describing themselves as 'devastated'.

The discontinuation has created demand among collectors. Packets are now being sold on eBay for £24.99 each, described as 'very rare', despite their original 90p price tag.
