Coco, a rescue dog adopted six months earlier, went missing in Lyneham on September 22.

Coco, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Whippet cross, disappeared from Lyneham on September 22, just six months after his adoption by Daria Mosur. Ms Mosur and her partner were abroad on their first holiday since adopting the dog when they learned of his disappearance and arranged to return home as quickly as possible.

In the weeks following his disappearance, there were occasional sightings which kept Ms Mosur searching and holding on to hope. However, she says there has been complete silence since last Monday, which she describes as 'incredibly concerning'. She has distributed hundreds of posters throughout the area and shared his disappearance across hundreds of Facebook pages.

Ms Mosur describes Coco as 'incredibly anxious and sensitive' and has warned that interactions from strangers could make him even more fearful and likely to flee. She has urged the public not to chase, call, whistle, or attempt to catch or contain Coco if spotted. Instead, she asks that people immediately report his location and direction of travel.

Ms Mosur said this information is vital so she can safely coordinate a search without causing the dog further distress. Despite daily searches since his disappearance, she said she feels 'desperate' but remains determined to find out what happened. She has appealed for help from anyone who may have spotted Coco, seen him regularly, or been quietly feeding or sheltering him without realising he is desperately missed.
