Hearts secured a 2-0 away win against Motherwell with goals from Claudio Braga and Calvin Miller.

Hearts secured a 2-0 victory at Motherwell, with Claudio Braga scoring in the first half and Calvin Miller in the second. The win came after a difficult week that included a crushing defeat to Celtic and a European loss to Trabzonspor.

Manager Wouter Vrancken said the three points were vital. He acknowledged the challenging circumstances, including eight players in the treatment room and the demanding fixture schedule, but resisted making excuses. He praised his players' response, saying they coped well despite being out of position and fought together for the result.

Motherwell have now lost their last six league games. Hearts secured their first win away from Edinburgh since the end of January, with Vrancken describing himself as delighted by the visiting support's response at the end of the match.
